The School of Chinese Medicine of the LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong and the Vita Green Charitable Foundation have established the “HKUSCM VG TCM Research and Development Lab Station” and held its unveiling ceremony today.

The newly established “HKUSCM VG TCM Research and Development Lab Station” (“Lab Station”) will support both basic and clinical research, while leveraging advanced research technologies, including artificial intelligence, big data analytics, omics, and pharmacology, to deepen the exploration of Chinese medicine theories and applications. The Lab Station will also support the recruitment of research talent, including postdoctoral fellows and research assistant professors, further enhancing the strength and research capabilities of the team.

Professor Feng Yibin, Professor and Former Director of the School of Chinese Medicine, HKUMed, Co-Director of the HKUMed Centre of Integrative Medicine, and Head of the HKUSCM VG TCM Research and Development Lab Station, said, “We are grateful for Vita Green’s support. The Lab Station will strengthen the integration of Chinese medicine research and modern technology, advance collaborative research, and support the development of Chinese medicine innovation.”
